Alicja Bielawska

Alicja is a Solicitor at IMD Corporate. She advises both domestic and international clients on employment, business immigration, and related corporate matters. She has a particular interest in advising European clients on workforce mobility solutions. She also has a background in commercial and corporate work, gained prior to qualification, which complements her current practice. She is a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Clinic.

Throughout her career, Alicja has secured degrees at universities in the UK, France and in Poland.

She completed Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) with Commendation and a Legal Practice Course (LPC) with Distinction at the University of Law in Manchester.

She also successfully completed LL.M. degree in Aviation Law at the Toulouse 1 Capitole University in Toulouse, France.

Alicja received her political science degree (Bachelor) and law degree (Master) from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland, from where she graduated in 2016.

In 2022, Alicja was recognised at the National Paralegal Awards, where she was shortlisted as a finalist in two categories: National Paralegal of the Year and Paralegal of the Year – Midlands & North.

Before joining IMD in 2017, Alicja gained experience at a law firm based in City of London. She also worked for an international law firm in Venice (Italy) and for one of the largest regional legal service providers in Poland.
