Ani Gabisonia is a paralegal providing comprehensive support to the family and criminal departments: from preparing initial documents to drafting closing letters for clients.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the National Research University HSE in St. Petersburg, Russia, as well as a Master’s degree in Applied Criminology from Manchester Metropolitan University. Ani is currently completing a second Master’s degree at the University of Law in preparation for qualifying as a solicitor.
Previously, Ani used to work as an assistant investigator and as a legal adviser for a women’s crisis centre. She has experience teaching English as a foreign language, volunteering for human rights organisations and supporting vulnerable adults as a learning mentor. Her academic research has mostly been focused on modern socio-political issues, including domestic violence, xenophobia and hate crimes.
Ani speaks Russian, English and Mingrelian languages.
For the past few years, she has been responsible for organising the firm’s social events as a member of the social committee.
Passion Outside of Law
Outside of work, Ani enjoys training for marathons, practicing yoga and reading classic literature.
