John James

After qualifying in 2011, John spent his early career building a specialism in commercial, insurance and personal injury litigation – learning first-hand how weak contracts fuel costly disputes. Since 2018, he has focused on non-contentious commercial work, helping clients prevent problems before they arise. John advises across the full spectrum of commercial needs, including GDPR, confidentiality, supply agreements, terms and conditions, employment contracts – basically any of the boring but necessary paperwork that protects a business! His approach is pragmatic, commercial, and rooted in the belief that prevention is always cheaper than the cure.

Away from work, John travels regularly with his wife from their home in Dubai, whilst always keeping an eye on the football and the cricket scores.
